Week Seven Research Assignment

     My research for this week has led me to the fabricated portraits by Les Andersson. While researching this artist, I have yet to come across a single profile or webpage regarding them. There is no information on them except their gallery on the MOCA website. This is an issue I commonly find with artists who use AI to create works of art, unlike their raw-skilled counterparts.

    Les Andersson's work "Big Hatted Lady" caught my eye as I clicked through the 14 portraits due to the bright splashes of purple. The very noticeable eye had also grasped my attention. The piece is very muddled, as AI art often is. That way has a bit of charm, keeping AI art distinguishable from art that people made themselves.
