Week 15 Research

For this last week I chose Thomas Demuth's Das Abendmahl 2. Thomas uses 3D rendenring to create photo-abstract images. He even named his style "Polygonismus," for the use of polygon mesh structures in his work. His intention with this work is to create a dramatic and profound style that gives the works a psychological depth and photo-abstract at the same time. I chose this one because it truly made me feel the artwork. As a catholic, I think this is a very interesting point of view on the sacred artworks.
