Week 15 Research

Tom McKeith

Tom McKeith possesses a Master of Fine Arts degree with a focus on photography, and he has amassed a digital art career that spans around 15 years. Throughout his creative journey, he has showcased his work in exhibitions in Southern California and Sacramento, his current place of residence. McKeith's artistic expertise is distinguished by his skillful illustrative abilities, distinguishing him within the domain of visual expression. In reflecting on his creative process, McKeith said, "The genesis of many of my ideas can be traced back to a myriad of disparate images I have gathered or encountered over the years. Take, for instance, the composition titled 'Hands' (featured on Page 06 in this exhibit), which pays homage to the architect Norman Foster's iconic 'Gherkin' building in London. My fascination with architecture, particularly viewing the 'Gherkin' as the crowning jewel in Foster's portfolio, inspired me to capture it through my lens. Subsequently, employing an intuitive approach, I wove an image around this architectural marvel." He uses photoshop to create his art.
