 Christopher Bennett was born in Lancashire, North England, in 1965, and currently lives in Isny Im Allgau, Germany, with his wife and two-year-old son. He pursued art and design at college in England and gained professional experience in print and advertising design. Bennett grew a long-standing interest in revisiting early Surrealist painters such as Bosch, Bruegel, and Arcimboldo in a modern photographic/realistic style.

Inspired by Peter Bruegel's "Seasons" and adding a religious theme from the book of Genesis, Bennett conceived a unique project. He developed a "storyline" for a calendar, resulting in twelve images that took an estimate of eight months to complete. These images are montages created from digital photographs taken by the artist or from photo archives, carefully manipulated and assembled to bring his artistic vision to life. This effort showcases Bennett's dedication to exploring the intersection of traditional art themes and modern photographic techniques.
