Week 14 Research Kyle Dann

Siegfried Schreck is from Hamburg, Germany. He is an artist, poet, songwriter, and digital photographer. He does it all. Siegfried also has several art exhibits across Germany. He is married and previously worked as a sailor, and miner, and is now currently working as a technical foreman on the waterfront. Siegfried sees himself as a warrior between poetry and painting. He says that he uses Photoshop, Picture Publisher, and other graphic programs in his digital work. His work is known to demonstrate a free and generous spirit. His art is very colorful with not too much going on. He uses simple shapes and lines in his work. Some of his art uses dull colors with maybe just a couple of shapes that have color. This makes these shapes stand out from the rest. Maybe he wants the audience to focus on these shapes first before looking at the rest. It could also mean that these images are more important than the rest. There isn't too much going on, so you can take in everything that is happening in the image. This image is a neat example of how he fades the colors into each other. It shows that he uses many different techniques in the painting that might get lost if there was too much going on.
