intro to computer arts
Björn Dämpfling is a unique digital artist known for his different style featuring imaginative and unlikely biological creations like fish, plants, insects, and birds. he was Born in 1949 and lived in Berlin, Germany, he holds a doctorate in economics but has dedicated much of his life to art. Using programs like Fractal Painter and Freehand, along with tools like a Wacom tablet, he often adds scanned paper sketches into his work. Dämpfling values the freedom to create and aims to avoid repeating himself, preferring surprise over monotony. While he wants his art to bear his recognizable style, he emphasizes the importance of artistic freedom. I think this piece definitely shows how abstract he is and how he doesn't like making similar art pieces. he shows his abstractness by showing all the colors and i love how he makes the artwork visibal around the whole thing like the black spiral.
