Week 15: Research Assignment

 For this week I chose the artist Andrew Andreev who created this piece with Photoshop and Blender. They used Photoshop to sketch out and colorize the piece. They also used Blender to add the reflections to the way and the highly detailed trees. The piece that Andreev made was to examine the interesting nature of what was around before we dominated the world. I also believe that they are trying to convey to the viewer that nature was much more lush back when the dinosaurs were roaming. I believe this because you can see the loads of fauna and giant trees competing for the sunlight and the abundance of vegetation. However I believe that Andreev is trying to convey that nature is also very dangerous, especially back then. This can be shown through the velociraptor surveying the area for food and possible prey. As well as this through the fact that due to everything being so lush you would easily lose yourself because everything looks the same and that there is no sense of direction.
