Week 14: Research Assignment

 For this week I chose the artist Anato Finnstark who created this piece with Photoshop. They used Photoshop to sketch out and colorize the piece. They also used Photopshop to add lighting to the piece making the flowers seem more vibrant as well as the flame on the character's arm. The piece that Finnstark made was to examine the interesting world that the character seems to find themselves in. I also believe that they are trying to portray the characters genuine disbelief in how massive things are compared to the character. I believe this because you can see how giant the snake is but it also shows how the trees around the area seem to have stretched really far to get up that high. As the area where the character seems to be is on mountains. However I believe that Finnstark is trying to convey that the fixation one needs to survive in this world is paramount. This can be shown through the harsh environment all around the image.
