Week 13 Research Assignment Kyle Dann

 

Clint is a contemporary artist who hand-draws the digital art that he produces. His work has been printed on archival-quality on fine art papers and canvases. Lots of his work that gets produced are known to be "symbolic" and "conceptual". Behind all of Clint's work, there is usually a story behind the drawing or the object means something to him. Clint is very good at using technology and he uses the knowledge that he gained from his studies in the technical and business fields to create art that is both bold and ambitious. He is not worried about being different than everyone else and his artwork is driven by inspiration to create paintings based on his own ideas. What makes his art filled with energy is the way he shows little details to bring more meaning to his pieces. This is the technique that Clint uses to have his audience take a closer look at his work and images. I picked out this image from above because it is very bright. Using a black background makes the bright colors in the flowers pop. Even the blue base or table that the flowers are sitting on pops because it is so much brighter than the background. Just the subtle details of the designs on the table to vase, show that. these objects mean more than what they may appear to be. I like the way that he makes all of the petals on the flowers look the same even with all the little dots on them. All of his images use very bright colors which makes them stand out from the background.
