Week 13 Assignment: Research

 For this week I chose the artist Denis Zhbankov who created this piece with Photoshop. They used Photoshop to sketch out and colorize the piece. They also used Photoshop to add lighting to the piece and added a layer of transparency that makes the wind and rain seem real. The piece that Zhbankov made was to examine how nature surrounds us. I also believe they are trying to convey to the viewer that nature is dangerous. I believe this because you can see a centipede crushing the house in the picture. However, Zhbankov is trying to convey that nature is always unpredictable and scary. This can be shown through the centipede being extremely large. As well as the giant serpent or centipede that seems to be in the background that looms over the piece multiple times and is attacking different houses.
