Week 12 Research Kyle Dann

Leo Symon expresses his views and communicates with the world through his paintings with his different shapes and colors. His paintings illustrate what Leo is experiencing in his own life and give him a better understanding of what he is living through. The images that he uses are not just images of the outside world, they are also his inner thoughts. He is able to express what he is thinking through his paintings. Leo believes that it's not enough for just him to understand the world, the world should recognize who he is as well. Leo likes computer science but recognizes that it can be a powerful tool and he will not let it control him. He uses it because it helps him complete tasks very quickly. He uses these tools for what he calls the "smaller acts" of shaping lines, surfaces, and shapes into a form where people can see an image. Leo's work is very simple and he is able to turn just shapes and colors into something much more than a painting. The story and background of each image are much more than just looking at his work. I like how the bright colors that he uses blend and fade out into the darker colors. The dents in the shapes are fascinating to me and love how he can turn simple shapes into bigger images. His work is so important because his passion comes from his inner thoughts and these shapes and colors mean more to him than most people would think.
