Week 11 Research Assignment

 This week, I am researching Renata Spiazzi. She was born in Italy in 1926. She always had a passion for the arts. She loved painting, sculpture, music, and the performing arts. She studied drawing at the Scuola Professionale Salvator Rosa in Naples, Italy. When the Second World War happened, she worked in advertising at the Unione Pubblicita' Italiana in Trieste. In 1952, she married her husband, and they moved to the United States. She started teaching drawing, painting, sculpture, and graphic arts at the San Diego Community College. During that time, She also created art, including sculpture, painting, and drawings. In 1991, she got her first computer and started experimenting with digital art. She learned how to use Photoshop and Ultra Fractals. She used these programs to create beautiful fractal art. This week, I chose her piece called Euphoria. I like this piece because it is colorful. The colors flow well together. I like the grey background because it makes the color pop even more. Sadly, she passed away in 2021.
