Week 11: Research Assignment

 For this week I chose the artist Dimitar Marinski who created this piece with Photoshop. They used Photoshop to sketch out and colorize the piece. They have also used Photopshop to add lighting to the piece in what looks to be water in this oasis-like area that seems to be highly irrigated. The piece that Marinski made was to examine the interesting nature of the biome of an oasis. I also believe that they are trying to convey to the viewer that the oasis is the birthplace of life and is an extremely flora ridden area. I believe this because you can see this in the water like substance and the green grass around the water like substance. However I believe that Marinski is trying to convey that society has built around this water-like substance and flourishes from it. This can be shown through the many buildings that are near the water-like substances. As well as the community of people that perceivably walk in and around this place at a constant basis.
