Week 9 Research Assignment

The artist I have chosen for week 9 is Khang-Loon Ho. Khang-Loon Ho's work stood out to me because I found it to be very unique and interesting. I don't think I've ever come across microscope art before, I thought it was beautiful how they turned a science into an art. I like finding unique pieces that you wouldn't see everyday. It reminded me that you can make art out of anything and make anything beautiful. Anything can be art through a creative lens. Khang said that the art was made using a slide of a telescope, it being modified, and digitally colored in on a computer! Though simple, I still found it intriguing and different, as it is not something you see every day. I was not able to find more of Khang-Loon Ho's work on the web as search results were low, but I have linked below the MOCA art exhibit where the work is displayed!
