Week 9 Research Assignment

                                KARIN KUHLMANN 

She is a German artist. She was born in 1948, and she lives and works in Verl, Germany. She studied photography and graphic design. She worked as a commercial artist for firms called Bertelsmann and Nobilia. She also worked as a publicist. She started to use computers to create art in 1996. Throughout the years, she worked on several series of abstract art created with fractals or flames and various fractal and graphic software. The majority of her works can be classified as fractals. To create her art, she used Photoshop and KPT5's FraxFrame filter. Karin Kuhlmann has won several awards for her digital work. Her art is abstract. This week, I chose a piece called Presentiments. This piece is highly abstract. When seeing this piece for the first time, I could see an eagle in his art. The color flows exceptionally well in this art.
