Week Six Research Assignment
This week, I am looking back on Don Archer and his work. Doing more research, I found that Archer was one of the two leading creators of the MOCA website. This would make sense, given that he does most of the work if not all of it. He uses WOMBO Dream and other prompt-based AI art generation tools. Reading into the MOCA website some more, it is clear that he takes his work extremely seriously. He states that he has no tolerance for dismissing AI art due to how long it takes him to create these images.
The image I found for this week is titled Brooklyn Bridge. Created with AI image generation, it accurately represents the Brooklyn Bridge. The colors are different from other pieces he had generated, which is a nice change of pace. This piece seems brighter than his other works, so it caught my eye.
